As new parents, we don't get the opportunity to get together with friends and family all at once, sit down, relax and enjoy a lovely meal. Our experience with the Chef Alliance was more than we expected as our 5 course dinner for 10 people satisfied all of our tastes and allowed time for us to sit back, visit with our guests and enjoy. From start to finish, the chefs were friendly and simply fantastic! The food was very fresh and definitely equivalent to a fancy dinner in a restaurant, yet all in the comfort of my own home. They came, they brought everything they needed, they cooked, and they cleaned up! I would definitely recommend this service to friends and family.
Thanks again to Chef James Green and the Chef Alliance.

Don and I, and our guests, would like to let you know, what a wonderful experience we had with Chef Jono, Saturday Aug.16 / 08 Chef Jono started us off with four wonderful appetizers, followed by his Signature Wedding Bouquet Salad. Our main course was the beef dish, and the black cod dish, which were both very tasty. We found Chef Jono very entertaining and full of an abundance of information for everyone, from Barbequing, to product information. Very helpful to know, what is actually in some of the food which we consume every day. Once again BRAVO TO CHEF JONO. We would most definitely, welcome Chef Jono back to our home.

Don & Jean

On Sunday, October 17th 2010 over 250 women gathered at Eagles Nest Golf Club to raise funds for York Central Hospital, learn about healthy aging, have fun and build new friendships.  The sponsors of the event included an array of national and local businesses including The Chef Alliance, who also provide raffle prizing.

The event was organized by the team at the Richmond Hill Branch of Assante Capital Management Ltd. The morning started by learning about the hospital and hearing from a patient, past Chair of the Foundation and long-time supporter, Nancy Coxford along with the current Chair of the Foundation, Dr. Nick Voudouris. The first keynote speaker, Dr. Bryce Wylde, homeopath and nutritionist, and host of Wylde on Health and author of the bestselling book, The AntiOxidant Prescription, spoke about healthy aging and managing it through antioxidants.

The next keynote speaker, Dr. Fred Weksberg, internationally renowned cosmetic dermatologist, talked about how to manage aging externally with cosmetic procedures. With the engaging and informative keynote speakers, fun activities, an energizing fitness break and interesting booths to visit, the event received a winning response from those in attendance.

The event helped raise $25,000 that will be used to fund needed medical equipment including 2 ICU defibrillator monitors. In honor of the Joy of Aging contribution, a plaque will be displayed at the family/patient area on the fifth floor ICU at the York Central Hospital.
